Our philosophy

Loving one's food
is a state of mind.

It means appreciating good food and good company. It means enjoying preparing food for others, and passing on one's love of culinary art. It means understanding how fine cuisine can bring people together, unite and sometimes comfort.
In preparing and serving good food, you're showing you care about other people; you're arousing feelings, creating memories. It shows generosity and the love of simple pleasures.

Le Grand Gourmand on the Rue des Dames in the heart of the Batignolles quarter is a stone's throw from Rome metro station. There are two entrances: Le Restaurant at N°68 and Le Comptoir at N°66 – two different ambiences but both with the same authentic flavours and shared pleasures.

Le Restaurant, with its elegant decor and the warm and welcoming atmosphere of a chic Parisian-style bistrot, offers an honest, generous and delicious cuisine that appeals directly to the senses. Each dish honours the terroir in a way that is both simple and modern.
